The\u00a0wind\u00a0makes the rotor spin, as the rotor spins, the movement of the blades drives a generator that creates energy. An example of a hydroelectric power dam, is the Kielder Water reservoir, located in Northumberland, operated by RWE Npower and is the largest system in England.
